Blemishes form when a pore becomes clogged with dead skin cells and sebum. This creates the perfect environment for irritating bacteria to thrive. Blemish Control Pads contain 2% salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that can penetrate deep into pores and break down the bonds between dead skin cells and sebum. This helps reduce the formation of blemishes. Salicylic acid also works as an anti-inflammatory to soothe red, painful breakouts, while allantoin and glycerin work to heal and protect the skin.

After cleansing in the morning and/or evening, use a pad to gently cleanse your face, avoiding the delicate eye area. Allow to dry before moisturizing. It can also be used on the neck, back, and arms.

For the first two weeks, use Blemish Control Pads once a day to allow your skin to adjust to the formula. For best results, use Blemish Control Pads twice a day.

Salicylic Acid (2%) – a BHA, or beta hydroxy acid, considered the gold standard for blemish prevention. It softens and dissolves keratin, a protein that clogs pores by causing skin cells to stick together. Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, meaning it can penetrate deep into pores to break down clogged skin cells and sebum, clearing blockages.

Allantoin – this extract has been established as a wound soother and skin protectant. It also enhances cell renewal to promote a smooth, even skin surface.

Glycerin – this ingredient, an effective humectant, is able to attract water from the lower layers of the skin and from the atmosphere. This keeps the skin hydrated, supple, and soft.

Aqua (water), Cocamidopropyl dimethylamine, salicylic acid, glycerin, phenoxyethanol, allantoin, sodium hydroxide, ethylhexylglycerin, Mentha Viridis (spearmint) leaf oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, limonene.

- Avoid sun exposure and use sun protection during the day while using this product and for one week afterwards.

- Since Blemish Control No Pads is a product that contains acid, its use is not recommended during pregnancy.

- As a general guideline, we recommend avoiding the use of vitamin A (such as retinol/retinaldehyde/retinyl retinoate) and high-potency exfoliating acids that are left on (such as glycolic/lactic/salicylic/mandelic/gluconolactone).
