How to care for your skin after 30
Teresa de Miguel Miró
It's a pivotal age, but a key one for your skin's future. How do you care for your skin after 30 ? As we always say at Beldon, " We have to start caring for our skin at 30 so that at 50 we look 40. " We know that acne has given you a long respite and that you're not yet overly concerned about wrinkles or sagging skin. However, your 30s are the crucial decade to invest in skincare and cosmetics to slow down—before it accelerates too much—the aging process. Your skin is surely no longer satisfied with just a dose of sunscreen and hydration and is starting to show signs that it wants something more. If you haven't yet figured out what that is, we'll give you all the answers.
THE PERFECT BEAUTY ROUTINE AT 30 YEARS OLD
We always recommend taking our Free Pre-Contact Facial Diagnosis, as every skin is unique, but in general terms, these are the keys to caring for your skin at this age.
- Cleansing: take it more seriously. It's time to forget makeup wipes and switch to cleansing products with added benefits tailored to your specific needs. Detoxifying gels, purifying micellar waters, hydrating milks, brightening lotions… start treating cleansing as the most important beauty ritual and a treatment in itself.
- Beware of sensitive skin. Whether due to stress or environmental pollution, it's often around this age that sensitive or reactive skin becomes more noticeable. The words 'soothing' or 'sensitive' on product labels are essential in this case.
- Serums before your moisturizer. Now's the time. Ideally, you should apply your moisturizer first to hydrate your skin and then opt for a specialized serum, whether it's anti-aging, anti-dark spot, brightening, firming, purifying, soothing, or regulating. And don't forget to apply it down to your décolletage!
- Day creams with SPF. It's the only way to protect yourself from photoaging and the effects it leaves on your skin. Whether it's summer or winter, cloudy or sunny, don't leave home without a moisturizer that contains at least SPF 20.
- Eye contour. You're already late . Some say you should start at 25. And indeed, the eye contour is the most sensitive area of the face and one of the first to show signs of aging.
- At night, change your cream. You can gradually introduce retinol treatments into your nighttime routine; it's one of the best anti-aging preventatives available. But it's advisable to start slowly, every other day, and increase the frequency as your skin adjusts.
- Special care. We're talking about exfoliants and masks. Ideally, you should dedicate one day a week to pampering your skin deeply, doing a peel and applying a mask. The most recommended masks for those in their 30s are those containing vitamin C or hyaluronic acid to provide extra radiance, hydration, and elasticity.
- And what about your body? Nothing beats alternating a good moisturizing body lotion and an anti-cellulite product every day of the year. Don't limit their use to just "bikini season."

Completely manual, it focuses on stimulating the natural drainage of the lymphatic system to eliminate waste and toxins from the body while reshaping the silhouette. It begins with a "pumping technique," applying pressure to stimulate lymphatic flow, followed by energetic, intense, and targeted movements to sculpt the figure. It also activates the metabolism and improves skin elasticity. It offers both short- and long-term results, combating abdominal bloating, heavy legs, and general swelling.
